How are my IAM credentials used?
Bauns uses your provided AWS access key and secret to perform a one-time setup of the necessary AWS resources:
- Creates an SNS Topic in your AWS account
- Configures a Subscription to notify Bauns of all SES events
- Sets up the required notification channels for deliveries, bounces, and complaints
Security Note: Your AWS credentials are encrypted during transmission and storage. After the initial configuration is complete, your credentials are permanently deleted from our systems.
What data does Bauns collect and how is it used?
To provide you with comprehensive email delivery analytics, Bauns collects the following data points:

Recipient email address | To identify problematic destinations and track bounce patterns |
Email subject | To help you identify specific messages in your dashboard |
